I loved the style of the wedding venue I shot at today in Austin. We got along well. http://t.co/pfdwAvT0

A few months ago when my buddy asked me if I wanted to take a trip to Atlanta and shoot a nigerian wedding with him....I had no idea what I was getting into. Evana and Chinedu's american ceremony was without a doubt, a signature Fred Egan Wedding. It was in fact the kind of wedding you dream about as a photographer. The bride was absolutely stunning ... the groom was confident, stylish and charming... the venue was incredible...the details were perfect and the food was...well if you like nigerian food, then it was a feast! A huge high five to the Folks at Simple Elegance for the coordination and of course a special thanks to Egan for letting me ride shotgun on this one (and for feeding and hydrating me so well)... work has never been so fun!
Is there such a thing as Mexican peace? If not their should be. Because when the sun sets and the Playa night life heats up, the beaches empty and are surreal.
Simply amazing. A wedding I was blessed to be a part of. Seaside is a beautiful Gulf Coast beach community and with those gorgeous white sandy beaches it is a perfect destination wedding location. The ceremony took place in the Seaside Interfaith Chapel on a crystal clear July day. Callie was dressed in a cute little Priscilla of Boston gown and looked absolutely stunning as she headed down the aisle. Callie's bridesmaids wore black matching dresses from Black Velvet Bridal in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The dazzling bouquets were created by Destin Floral Design. An extra special thanks to one of best friends, Jory Cordy for joining me in me in Florida and shooting this one with me. I really could not have done it without him.
This here is part two.. of one magical weekend in Seaside Florida... for two sisters... from Tulsa's weddings. Was having a double wedding chaos? uhm, yeah. absolutely. Did it work? You betcha. Special thanks to Jory Cordy for being not only a traveling companion but for being less like a second shooter and more like another 1st shooter. Another big thanks goes to rockstar coordinator Carolina Smith. Wanna get married in Seaside? the answer is yes and you can send her an email here. What... more people to thank? yep. For the first time EVER I got to work with a videographer I liked. yeah, I said it. Now go check out Blake Bollingerfrom Nashville.. he's not just good with a camera, he's good people too. And last but not least... definitely not least, thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Wilson for taking such good care of me and my crew. From birthday cake (Jory and I both had birthdays while we were there) to wine in our cabin to golf carts to zip around in The Wilson's couldn't have been any more gracious than they were and it was a blessing to work for them in Florida.... now if only I could get them to give me the keys to their beach house ;)
Had a great time with Callie from Okie State in the old Fort Worth Stockyards. She's so much fun it made my job easy... but it got even easier once she had her little "refreshment". Good times!
So here's the deal. I've lived in Texas for most of my life. But.... I've always lived in the big cities... Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth (you know, the ones you've heard of) Well... my new friend Lauren is the opposite. Born in raised in a teeny tiny texas town with neighboring cities like Tool and Gun Barrel City, Lauren is the real deal. So a few weeks ago we headed a couple of hours down the road to her parents lake house for one heck of a bridal shoot in the 100° mid-day sun... in the middle of July. Brilliant, I know! Feel free to leave your thoughts!!!
